What did the ghost tell about the two places of his sleep?(chapter 5)

Dear student,

The Canterville ghost told Virginia that his place of sleep had grasses that grew long and deep. It was a place where there were white stars of the hemlock flower, and where the nightingale sang the whole night. It is a place where the cold crystal moon looks down and where the yew-tree spreads out its giant arms over the sleepers. It was actually the Garden of Death that he was referring to.
