All organs of the organism arise from the either of three primary germ layers.

The three germ layers are inner layer called endoderm, middle layer called mesoderm, outer layer called ectoderm. The organs which arise from the mesoderm are known to be of mesodermal origin. Examples of such organs are kidney, blood vessels, muscles etc.
