What do you mean by true breeding ?

A kind of breeding in which the parents with a particular phenotype produce offspring only with the same phenotype or breeding which takes place between two pure breeds, i.e. having same genotype. True breeding organisms are called pure bred. These organisms have certain biological traits which are passed on to all subsequent generations when bred with another true breeding organism for the same traits.
