What do you think would have happened if humans also gave birth to a large number of babies at a time?
Human body is not designed in a way to produce many babies at a time .Babies born will be weak and low weight which can reduce the chances for their survival. Also it will be very difficult to raise so many children together as human babies are much more dependent on maternal care for longer time
