reaction ? What would happen if the enzyme did nt play this role

Dear Student!
An enzyme lowers the activation energy (energy required to start
a reaction) of the reaction it has to catalyze If the enzyme loose
their activity there would be various reactions which would be
uncatalyzed and can lead to loss of various body functions
