What experiment would we do to confirm that F2 generation in a cross between tall and short pea plant in fact has a 1:2:1 ratio of TT, Tt and tt trait combination?

Mono-hybrid cross. We cross a pure tall plant with a pure dwarf plant to chect which trait is dominant which is recessive. The F1 progeny shows all tall plants(Tt). But in the F2 generation, both tall short plants are found in the ratio 3:1 (the phenotype). The genotype(the type of genes) is 1:2:1

We can do a mono-hybrid cross and to confirm the phenotypic ratio we can use the punnet square
