What Food comprises of _______.

Dear student 
In order to maintain healthy our body must have a healthy and balanced diet. This means we must eat sufficient food and also eat a variety of foods, this way our body gets all the different nutrients it needs.
There are seven nutrition groups found in the food we eat, these are:
Carbohydrates- Carbohydrates are found in a wide variety of both healthy and unhealthy foods—bread, beans, milk, popcorn, potatoes, cookies, spaghetti, soft drinks, corn, and cherry pie. They also come in a variety of forms. The most common and abundant forms are sugars, fibers, and starches.
Proteins - Some sources of dietary protein include:
lean meat, poultry and fish
dairy products like milk, yoghurt and cheese
seeds and nuts
beans and legumes (such as lentils and chickpeas)
soy products like tofu. 
Fat High-fat foods include avocados, tofu, nuts, seeds, fish, peanut butter, boiled soybean, flaxseed oil, cheese, and eggs. 
Fibre- Fibre rich foods include:
Wholegrain breakfast cereals, whole wheat pasta, wholegrain bread and oats, barley and rye
Fruit such as berries, pears, melon and oranges
Vegetables such as broccoli, carrots and sweetcorn
Peas, beans and pulses
Potatoes with skin
Vitamins vitamins like  A B C D E and k are found in food are essential for human growth and proper body functioning 
Minerals  there are 7 major minerals found in food. These are calcium magnesium potassium sodium sulphur phosphorus and iron
Water  our body is made up to 72 % water nad water is very essential for human to live and lead a healthy life
A balanced diet is made up of all of the above nutrients.
