what happens to Kinetic Energy if velocity is doubled ,can i have the formula with explanation now?urgent reply appreciated

Kinetic energy of a body is the energy possessed by it, by virtue of its motion, i.e. if the body is moving it will always have kinetic energy.



Therefore, kinetic energy becomes four times the initial kinetic energy, when the velocity is doubled.
