What happens when wax is heated,How change of matter happens?

When we heat wax, it melts. The state of wax is solid before melting, which on heating converts to liquid wax.

when heated wax melts . This is same for all matter ( except few) . Only the melting point is different for dofferent and hence they melt at different temp.
