what is a meteor and its explain 5 to 6 lines

Dear student, Meteoroids are objects (can be very small to extremly large) which are in space. When any of the Metroroid enters the Earth's atmosphere, then it is called a Meteor. Note the once they enter the earth atmosphere there is friction between them and earth's atmosphere and hence they burn giving them a fire tail and hence we call them as shooting stars or fireballs also.
