Dear Student
The anther is the male part of a flower that makes up the pollen bearing portion of a stamen. It is made up of two lobes which contain the two sacs where pollen matures and it is located on the top of the filament.
The pistil is the female reproductive structure present in the flower. The pistil consists of the stigma, style and the ovary. The female gametes or the eggs are found inside the ovules.
