What is a plant cell and names of the plant cell

Dear student,

Plant cells are eukaryotic cells which have some distinctive features like the presence of  a central vacuole, a cell wall, plasmodesmata, plastids, cell plate formation with the help of phragmoplast etc.

Different types of cells include:

Parenchyma cells, Epidermal cells
Collenchyma cells
Sclerenchyma cells
Xylem and phloem tissues are specialised for food transport in higher plants.
Meristematic cells can differentiate into roots, stems, leaves, flowers and reproductive structures.

Regards.

Plants have eukaryotic cells with large central vacuoles, cell walls containing cellulose, and plastids such as chloroplasts and chromoplasts. Different types of plant cells include parenchymal, collenchymal, and sclerenchymal cells.

Plant cells are a eukaryotic cell that varies in several fundamental factors from other eukaryotic organisms.

Plant epidermal cells are specialized parenchyma cells covering the external surfaces of leaves, stems, and roots. In the shoot epidermis of most plants, only the guard cells have chloroplasts. Chloroplasts contain the green pigment chlorophyll which is needed for photosynthesis
