what is a soundboard? Expalin the working of a soundboard with the help of a labelled diagram

In a big hall, Sound can be absorbed by the walls, floor, ceilings which leads to too much absorption of sound due to which it cannot be heard clearly. This can be overcome either by using a curved ceiling or by using a sound board.

A curved soundboard is placed behind the speaker in large halls. So that sound is distributed uniformly through the hall and even the persons sitting back at the back of the hall can hear the sound.
