Storm is a disturbed state of atmosphere. According to Beaufort scale, wind blowing at speed range from 89 km/h to 102 km/h is classified as storm.

Storms are formed due to heating of the earth resulting in rise of the hot air creating a low pressure zone which is surrounded by high pressure areas. This pressure difference creates winds from high pressure area to low pressure area resulting in the formation of storm.
