What is albedo?

“Albedo” in astronomy is the reflectivity of the surface of a planet like moon , asteroid or other celestial body that does not shine by its own light .We can say ,it is a measure of an object's reflection of the sun’s radiation. Many planetary bodies in the solar system are visible due to reflection of sun’s light. For example Moon, Venus, Mars and Jupiter.
