What is amoeba?
Dear Student,
Amoeba is a unicellular protozoan. Amoeba is a single-celled organism found in puddles, lake water, pond water etc. It has a cell membrane, a round nucleus, and many small vacuoles. Amoeba can constantly change its shape. It forms finger-like projections called pseudopodia (meaning false feet). Pseudopodia help the Amoeba in moving and capturing food.
