What is an adjacent size I can't understand it properly ??

Hi...!!

Any two sides with a common vertex are called adjacent sides.

For example:

Consider, a quadrilateral ABCD.

(1) AB and BC are two sides with a common vertex B. Thus, AB & BC are the adjacent sides.

(2) AD and CD are two sides with a common vertex D, so AD & CD are the adjacent sides

(3) AB & CD are two sides with no common vertex, so AB & CD are not adjacent sides.

Cheers...!!!
