What is an inverted image in a pinhole camera ?

Dear student
Assuming your question to be why an inverted image is formed in pinhole camera...as your question seems to be ambiguous.
The light enters through a very fine pin-hole in a pinhole camera and is propagated in a straight line. It produces inverted image because the light rays coming from the top and bottom of the object intersect at the pinhole. Thus, an upside down image is formed due to linear propagation of light through the hole of the pinhole camera.
