What is av valve and av septum ? Explain the difference between them?

Dear student
Atrioventricular valve (AV valve) is a valve present between the atria and ventricle, which regulate the movement of blood from atria to ventricles and prevent the black flow of blood. It separates the upper part from lower part.

AV Septum is the boundary in a heart which separates left part from the right part, so that there is no mixing of blood.  That portion of the septum that separates the right and left atria of the heart is termed the atrial, or interatrial, septum, whereas the portion of the septum that lies between the right and left ventricles of the heart is called the ventricular, or interventricular, septum. Together known as AV ( Atrio-venticular ) Septum.

The mid line is AV septum.

Hope this helps!
