what is BODMAS rule .Please give an example
Dear user!
Here is the answer to your question.
For simplifying an expression, there are some rules about the order in which the calculations should be performed. The order of rules is called BODMAS. Each letter in this word stands for an operation.
Example: Simplify the expression 36 ÷ 12 + 7 × 2 – 7
36 ÷ 12 + 7 × 2 – 7
= 3 + 7 × 2 – 7 (Division)
= 3 + 14 – 7 (Multiplication)
= 17 – 7 (Addition)
= 10 (Subtraction)
Cheers!
