what is bolus and molus ?
 

When the food is taken up in mouth, it is chewed and mixed with the saliva. This makes a small mass (ball) of chewed food which is called bolus. Bolus is then swallowed.

There is no word as molus in digestion and digestive system. the correct term should be mucus. It is the watery fluid secreted by digestive tract to keep it moist and also performs various other functions like helps in movement of food, prevents lining of digestive tract from acid etc.

However, Molus is a genus of gossamer-winged butterfly.
