Chlorosis is the yellowing of leaf due to an insufficient amount of chlorophyll in the leaf.

the following are diseses in plants seen due to mineral deficiency - 

1. chlorosis - loss or degeneration of chloroplast . 

    due to lack of  N , K , Mg

2.necrosis - deth of tissues in plants . 

   due to lack of  K , Ca, Mg ,Cu .

3.inhibition of celll division - cell division is affected . 

   due to lack of N , K , S

4.delayed flowering - flowering is not taking place in the desired seaon or at correct time 

  due to lack of  Mo , N and S
