Any two numbers are said to be Co-primes if their HCF is 1. Co-prime numbers are not always prime. I'm giving you three easy ways to find out if a pair of numbers are co-prime or not.
Any pair of prime numbers will be co-prime.
A pair consisting of a prime number and composite number will be co-prime if the composite number is not divisible by the prime number.
Any 2 consecutive numbers will be co-prime.
Hope this helps...

In number theory, two integers a and b are said to be relatively prime, mutually prime, or coprime (also spelled co-prime) if the only positive integer that evenly divides both of them is 1. That is, the only common positive factor of the two numbers is 1. This is equivalent to their greatest common divisor being 1.
