what is conspicuous nuclei?

Conspicuous nucleus means that the nucleus is quite prominent and easily stands out when you observe the structure of the respective cell. For e.g. when you make a temporary mount of onion peel or a cheek cell , you can distinguish the cytoplasm and nucleus of the cell quite easily. So, the nucleus can be called conspicuous nucleus in this case.

The large cells have oval to irregular nuclei, variably conspicuous nucleoli, and abundant cytoplasm. Moderate numbers of eosinophils are admixed.
