What is differenc between compost manure and simple or green manure?( GIve me answer in points. Plz)
- GREEN MANURE- is also known as cover crop grown to add nutrients in the soil. When any crop like Wheat, Bajra is harvested then green manure crops are grown to increase the organic matter nutrients in the soil.
- These are grown for a short period of time. Some common examples of green manure are leguminous plants like- clover and soya beans.
- COMPOST MANURE-is the organic matter produced by natural decomposition of materials like yard trimmings, wood chips, paper products and other materials.
- Adding compost to soil supplies nutrients that are essential for plant growth.
