what is difference between boy`s and boys`

Dear Student,
In linguistics, "boy" is a noun as you may be knowing. Boys is the plural form of boy.
Boy's  is used when referring to the possession of one boy. E.g., The boy's pink kite is flying high up in the sky.
The apostrophe "s" shows that the pink kite belongs to the boy.
However when we write BOYS' it means that something belongs to two or more boys or is a referring expression to demonstrate the possession of many boys.
E.g. The boys' clothes are usually blue.
Regards.
