what is difference between natural and phylogenetic system of classification

Natural system of classification is based on the significant superficial characters like morphology , etc. Phylogenetic system of classification is based on the evolutionary history of the organisms. Natural system of classification is more convenient and approved than phylogenetic classification because there may be the gap between fossils and study during evolutionary development of organism.

This classification system does not only depend upon characteristic similarities but also try to find out whether the organisms were related somehow during evolution. natural system of classification is based on superficial characters like morphology, habitat, etc. the natural system is more convienient.
