what is dry ice and what does it do better than ordinary water ice

Dry ice is the solid form of carbon dioxide.when it melts rather than forming water it forms carbon dioxide.and as a result it keeps the object near it cool and at the same time does not make it wet.Whereas if you use ordinary water ice it will make the object wet (also cools the object)

Hope this helps
