 What is erect image?

Hi Praveen!

An erect image is an image in which, the up-down reversal is not occurred. That is, the image will be standing like the object. For example, the image produced by a plane mirror is an erect image.

 An erect image has the following properties:- 1.the image formed has the same distance from the object to the image in the mirror  2.the image is not inverted and  3.the size of the image formed is also the same as the object.
