what is filler ? Which filler is added to soap and how does it help?

 In chemistry, the fillers are substances used in soaps, detergents to modify and alter the physical properties of the material or to add bulk to it. The different materials that can be used as fillers in detergents, include -Sodium sulfate, Sodium chloride  etc.
