what is first law of motion

Dear friend, According to newton's first law of motion : a body at rest will remain at rest, and a body in motion will continue in motion in a straight line with a uniform speed, unless it is compelled by an external force to change its state of rest or of uniform motion . Isaac Newton's first law motion also known as law of interia this is the first law of motion . With regards By R . K

Dear friend,
According to Newton's first law of motion, a body continuous to be in a state of rest or in a state of motion along a straight line unless an external force is applied on the body to change its state.

Continue to remain in a straight line on or uniform motion until and unless an external unbalanced force acts on it

Nothing more about it

first u simply remember ....   if a body is in rest and it continues to remain in state of rest , if a body is in motion it will remain in state of motion unless an external and unbalanced force is compelled to it

First law of motion tells us that,
An object continuous in state of rest or in motion until any unbalanced force acts on it.
This means an object is still in rest or motion until any force acts on it to stop it or to push it.
