What is formula of finding roots

Dear student,
$$\begin{gathered} For a s\tan dard quadratic equation of the form: \\ a{x}^2+bx+c=0, \\ The formula to find roots is: \\ x=\frac{-b\pm \sqrt{b^2-4ac}}{2a} \end{gathered}$$
The formula is different for different types of equations.
It would be great if you could mention the order of the equation so that we can provide you with some meaningful help.
