what is futility of soil?

Fertility is the quality or ability  of soil that makes it suitable for growth of plants. Fertility of soil is determined by the presence of humus and other required nutrients in the soil. The soil rich in humus and nutrients is called fertile soil. Manures are naturally decomposed organic materials (mostly  humus) that increase soil fertility. Humus is porous in nature and allows water and air to pass through. Fertilizers are mostly chemical in nature and add essential nutrients( such as nitrogen, phosphorus , potassium, etc)  to soil.

Hi,

Futility of soil means importance of soil.

There are a number of reasons as to why soil is significant. It is a medium in which plants grow as well as a home for animals and other micro-organisms. It also influences the character of our local landscapes as well as preserves archaeological remains.

Soil provides ecosystem services which is critical for life:soil acts as a water filter and a growing medium;provides habitat for billions of organisms, contributing to biodiversity; and supplies most of theantibiotics used to fight diseases.Thumbs up if this helps you :)
