What is haemopoesis ?please give me answer

Dear student,

Haemopoiesis the production of blood cells. The production of the blood cells start after 15 days of forming the embryo and goes on till death. More than 95% of the haemopoiesis takes place in the bone marrow and almost near about 5% takes place in the spleen.

Haematopoiesis is the formation of blood cellular components. All cellular blood components are derived from haematopoietic stem cells. In a healthy adult person, approximately 10¹¹–10¹² new blood cells are produced daily in order to maintain steady state levels in the peripheral circulation.
