We study history because of the following factors: * It helps us understand people and societies * It helps us understand change and how society we live in came to be * It contributes to moral understanding * provides identity * essential for good citizenship * provides self knowledge.

History is the branch of knowledge dealing with past events.A continuous systematic narrative of past events as relating to a particular people,Country,Period,Person,etc....We should study History because,we would get knowledge of how the people lived in the past what did they used and what clothes they wear and what events had happened.
