Integers are the set of counting numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, 5, ...) , the number zero (0)
and the inverse of counting numbers (1, 2, 3, 4, ....)
The set of integers can be expressed as
{...., 2, 1, 0, 1, 2, ....}
The positive integers are greater than 0, meaning that they are the counting numbers
{1, 2, 3, 4, ....}
and the negative integers are the inverse of the counting numbers, all less than 0
i.e. {...., 3, 2, 1}.
Also, zero (0) is neither positive nor negative.
