What is it

Dear student,
Assuming the given numbers are 1, 4, 7, 10, 13
The difference between successive numbers are:
(4-1)=3, (7-4)=3, (10-7)=3 and (13-10)=3
So, it can be seen that the successive numbers are in common difference of 3. Generally, this type of progression or series is called 'Arithmetic progression'.
I hope it clears your doubt in this regard.
Regards
