What is leukemia and malgnancy?

Leukaemia is a cancer of the blood forming cells. These cells are located in the bone marrow. It mostly affects the cells which develop into white blood cells. It is caused by the the alteration of some genes which control how these cells divide.
Malignancy - is the state or presence of a malignant tumor. In malignant tumor, cancer cells grow very rapidly, invades and damage surrounding normal cells and tissues. This phenomenon of invading normal cells and cells from distant places in the body along with the blood stream is known as metastasis
