what is lighting?

Lightning :- It is an electric spark on huge scale, generally occurs in atmosphere. During the thunderstorm positive charge and negative charge accumulates across the clouds. When the magnitude of accumulation of charge is huge. When they meet, produce huge spark and sound. This huge spark see as lightning.
