what is mandapika ?

Dear Student,

a.During the medieval period , there were many towns where both internal and external trade flourished.
b. A mandapika or mandi refers  to a market in small town  in which nearby villagers brought their products to  be sold. It was an important place where internal trade took place.
c. These towns  also had market streets called hatta comprising of shops.
