What is meant by asexual reproduction list 4 different methods describe in brief any three methods (tell me the proper form to write it in boards)

Dear student,
Please find below the answer:

Asexual reproduction involves the participation of a single parent. This mode of reproduction does not involve the formation of gametes. It includes types of vegetative propagation and asexual spore formation. For example, Vegetative propagation is a mode of asexual reproduction in plants where the vegetative parts such as roots, leaves, stems, etc. are used to propagate the plants.

Four methods of asexual reproduction are as follows:
1) Fission: The organism divides into two organisms or multiple organisms. Example: protozoan
2) Budding: Bud-like growth occurs in the body which develops and detached from parents to grow into a new organism. Example: yeast
3) Fragmentation: In some organisms, the body of the organism breaks into several parts. Each part then develops into a complete organism. Examples: flatworms, echinoderms, etc.
4) Parthenogenesis:  An unfertilized egg develops into a new individual. For example, some reptiles and amphibians

Hope this clears your doubt.
Regards.
