what is meant by cutinised?

Dear Student,

Cutin is wax like substance which is a component of cuticle of plant. It covers all the aerial surfaces of the plant like stem ,leaves etc. to reduce the loss of water through transpiration through them. The leaf which has deposition of cutin will be termed as a cutinised leaf.
