Rosette is a condition when the leaves of the plants radiate outwards from a short stem at soil level. For e.g. cabbage represents rossette condition. The rosette habit is the characteristic of a plant which is rosette in nature. This enables such plants to survive grazing and trampling and to be more successful in competing with other species for space.
