It is good to see the amount of efforts you are putting in understanding the chapter by paying attention to the details involved in the procedures. As far as your doubt is concerned, Detail of non-resident, if there is any interest in the exporter's firm simply means that the person applying for the export license must clearly state whether or not he/she is a Non- Resident Indian and whether he/she has any interest in the export firm with or without repatriation benefits. In case the individual has an interest in the firm with repatriation benefits, then he/she must submit details of permission from RBI which involves RBI approval number and RBI approval date.
