What is measure of statistical dispersion ?
Dear student.
Dispersion measures the degree of variation in statistical data. There are two measures of dispersion.
1) Absolute measure: In this absolute measures are expressed in units in which original data is measured. It includes Range, Quartile deviation, Mean deviation and Standard deviation.
2) Relative measure: In this measures are expressed as ratio or percentage. It includes Coefficient of Range, Coefficient of Quartile deviation, Coefficient of Mean deviation and Coefficient of Variation.
