what is mesuaration

female uterus has a thick lining of blood. in case the ova produced by the ovaries is fertilised, it gets embedded to the uterus lining resulting in pregnancy. If the ova isnt fertilised, it gets shed off with the thick lining, resulting in bleeding in females.This shedding of the thick lining is called mensuration. This occurs once in every 28 to 30 days.
