what is mode????
Mode is the value which occurs most frequently in a set of observations.
Example :
To find the mode of data
1, 7, 7, 3, 7, 1, 3, 9
We arrange the data in the form of frequently table
Value | Tally bars | Frequency |
1 3 7 9 | || || ||| | | 2 2 3 1 |
Since the value 7 occurs maximum number of times i.e. 3.
Hence the mode value is 7
