What is molar volume

Dear Student

The volume occupied by 1 mole of any substance at a given temperature and pressure is called molar volume (Vm). SI unit: m3/mol
molar volume=molar massdensity
1 mole of any substance occupies 22.4 L or 22400 ml volume at STP (Standard Temperature and Pressure - 1 atm and 273.15 Kelvin). This is called the molar volume at STP.
