What is motion
What is motion
Dear student,
A body is said to be in motion if it's position with respect to a reference point changes with time, which means that motion is relative.
For example, a car is moving on a road and for a person standing on the road, the car is in motion.
(while in the same example if we see from the perspective of person sitting inside the same car then the car appears to be at rest so it assures us that the concept of motion is relative)
Regards.
