what is NADPH.....???????
what's its function....?????
NADPH stands for Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate is a coenzyme used in anabolic reactions, such as lipid and nucleic acid synthesis, which require NADPH as a reducing agent.
NADPH is necessary for stage two of photosynthesis, the Calvin Cycle, to occur. During that cycle, NADPH reduces carbohydrate molecules into carbon-carbon bonds until they form two 3-carbon sugar phosphate molecules. NADPH is a reduced form of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide phosphate. It is a final product of the light reactions of photosynthesis.
